What is the best website to order flowers ?

My best friend lives in a different state than I do and her birthday is coming up. Have you ever used a great website to order flowers for someone that can be delievered in a different state or place? Thanks much!

What is the best website to order flowers ?
I don%26#039;t trust the websites because the product is way inferior than what you pay. If your friend lives in a larger city, call the best hotel%26#039;s Concierge desk and order through them. If in her city there are no Concierge desks, call a reputable hotel and ask the operator or front desk for local florists referrals.

An online site to send flowers to my boyfriend?

He lives in Canada, Missisauga. I live in Singapore. His birthday is coming up and i%26#039;ve got a big surprise for him. But i want to give him a bouquet 2 days before his birthday, to have him anticipate his gift. Do you guys know of any online store that i can get flowers for less than 50 canadian bucks??

An online site to send flowers to my boyfriend?
You could try: %26quot;World-Florists.com%26quot; and also, %26quot;flowersonly.com/%26quot; ---- %26quot;proflowers.com%26quot; and, %26quot;hallmark.com%26quot; are possible sites for gift service, too!
Reply:Save your money. Unless he is gay, no guy%26#039;s want to receive flowers. Think of something else to send him. Some naked photos of you would be a much better idea.

Can you believe that my scummy MIL didn't even send me a card for my birthday?

She is probably worth a million so she can afford it. My SIL came to my hubby%26#039;s 40th birthday dinner and picked him a flower off a bush in front of the restaraunt and she is the Director of Risk Management for a Hospital and makes about $75K. What do I say or do to his family? PS ~ I am a strong Christian so nothing ugly, please. Blessings!

Can you believe that my scummy MIL didn%26#039;t even send me a card for my birthday?
Anger is an emotion given to us by God and your calling her scummy is a reflection of the hurt that she has caused you. Your honesty with your question is the only way to get a true answer and calling her scummy here is a good place to do so because it does not hurt you, her or your chances of building a relationship. It is unfortunate that some have come across as judgmental but the truth is that the only person you can control is you. You are trying to have the best relationship that you can with your MIL because you have to have a relationship with her. Make your actions those of Christ and focus on your relationship with your husband. You also may bake her some cookies or something. That may %26quot;heap burning coals%26quot; on her head. (Proverbs 25:21-22)
Reply:Actually to me being with my family for my birthday, and nothing more, is worth a million to me. That is gift enough.
Reply:what difference does it make? if you don%26#039;t care for her, why do you need a b-day card from her? my in laws don%26#039;t aknowledge my b-day either. i%26#039;m fine with that as long as they remember our kids and mu husband.
Reply:well i have incountered MIL and SIL problems myself. and no matter what you say or do it will never be good enough....so just remember that the ONLY person you need to make happy is your husband....and really dont let that they make mega bucks and wont buy you a b day card bother you....then it seems like you are jealous of there wealth.......we choose the roads to go down and if you didnt choose a money maker road then thats your choice.....but dont be jealous or let it bug you that someone didnt do this or that.......move on.....its petty.
Reply:Jesus had encounters with Satan and resisted him. You should do the same with your inlaws.
Reply:Might be your scummy attitude that keeps her from wanting to be a part of your birthday or anything else.

Ever thought about how you portray yourself to her?

If you were a Christian you would have never spoken as harsh as you did here. You make good people that are Christians look bad in the eyes of others.
Reply:Some people dont do presents/birthdays up big at all. I wouldnt do or say anything to his family. Happy Birthday!
Reply:Would Jesus be calling her %26#039;scummy%26#039;? I think not. You should be praying about the situation instead of asking on Y!A.

Blabbing about how bad someone is online is not a very Christian approach. You should have a more loving heart.

Maybe instead of venting so much, get your Bible out and read it.
Reply:well, if you were a strong christian you would not be calling your mother in law scummy...and...you would not be venting about how much money they have and should spend...did she call you? to me, picking up a flower off a bush is a cute idea... it should not be about how much one spends, but, it%26#039;s the thought that counts! if she did not call you, I can see why...you have an attitude and it needs to change =(...

My boyfriend has never bought me flowers?

Not even on my birthday. I really put myself out for him sometimes and he never gives me anything like this as a token of his appreciation. When I have hinted at it he has said %26quot;yeah you are long overdue a bunch of flowers%26quot; But still nada. Every other guy I have been out with has always bought me flowers. Am I wrong - it%26#039;s not the flowers themselves but the gesture that he is thinking of me or has gone out of his way to do something nice for me.

My boyfriend has never bought me flowers?
i know how you feel, the last time my bf got me flowers was on valentines day, and it pisses me off. he does a lot for me but still.... its flowers...... its a girls next best friend besides dimonds lol i think men should walk in womens shoes for like a week and see our emotions because they obviously have trouble with it
Reply:Have you given HIM a token of appreciation? Start giving him little gifts and doing nice things for him. He should catch on that he needs to return the favor.

Do I bring flowers?

My girlfriend%26#039;s father invited me to suprise her at a birthday dinner tomorrow at some resturant. It%26#039;s a family thing but everyone tells me I should bring some flowers for her. You know, nothing like roses, but just some flowers for her b-day. Wouldn%26#039;t that distract a bit? Is it a good idea?

Do I bring flowers?
oh yeah, don%26#039;t arrive empty handed. You could even bring a wrapped gift (what%26#039;s inside will depend on how serious your relationship is right now...if it%26#039;s serious, then I suggest jewelry ...if it is not, then maybe a CD or nice book).
Reply:Bring those flowers, keep them %26#039;sweet%26#039; and they%26#039;ll be %26#039;discreet%26#039;

..oh yea, and give them to her, like it was your own offhanded idea - not an ordeal ;)

Well, you will never go wrong with art pieces, for instance handmade portraits on Oil, Acryl or Canvas. They really look classical! You simply select a nice photo - one of her most memorable ones or one taken in some beautiful landscape - and send it to the professional artists at http://www.paintyourlife.com to be turned into a unique portrait. It is a reliable address for all sorts of gift ideas for every occasion!

The same company also makes wonderful photo prints on canvas in various designs. Visit http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com

you can fill it with old photos, and recent ones, so when she looks at it she can remember all the good times!

also, it will be even more personal if you make it, and i think she would like that!

Birthday present for my mom's 40th birthday???? 10pts to the best!!!?

My mom will be turning forty soon and I need to get her a good gift. I am 16 and her bday being a good one is totally up to me b/c my bros cannot drive to get her a present, they%26#039;re too young, and my dad will be out of town on her birthday so he won%26#039;t be able to help me out. So what should I get her? Hopefully I can think of something better than this, but if not, my fall back present is going to be like 40 roses or 40 sunflowers, those are her fave flowers. I really want to think of something better though!

Birthday present for my mom%26#039;s 40th birthday???? 10pts to the best!!!?
You can take her out to breakfast at a diner and then get her a pedicure. Spending time with you would be a present she will adore. Or you guys can go to the movies together. Or you can make her breakfast at home then go out. She will love it especially coming from you. Make her a handmade card with a picture of you and your brothers (if you want to include them in that) set up the table and sit with her for breakfast and talk. I hope this helps. My daughter surprises me with homemade breakfast and makes the table up. I loved the fact that she took the time for the little details. Enjoy!
Reply:Hi I found a lovely gift for my mother on a web_site called www.jemsideas.co.uk have a look hope this helps x Report It

Reply:If you have enough money for 40 roses, then you must have a decent amout of money saved up.

I always buy my mom a nice perfume gift set, but she loves perfume.

Does your mom work a lot? What about a gift certificate for a massage? Maybe a manicure or pedicure?

I get massages every 3 weeks they are wonderful!!

A massage in my area is about $50.
Reply:how about a day at the spa, full treatment. Talk to your dad before he leaves town and see if he can help you out with that. My mom loved that for her bday...My sister and i gave it to her for her 70th. Including a massage, facial, nails, etc.

Reply:Need more info. How much money do you have to spend? Is this going to be something from just you, or your brothers too? Add on to your question.
Reply:Get a really small box, a ring box or similar.

Glue it shut %26amp; then wrap it like a tiny present. Put a pretty bow on it %26amp; a name tag. On the tag write: To mum, all my love wrapped up just for you.

Write her a letter thanking her for being your mum. Tell her how much you lover her %26amp; why.

You could even put the letter inside the box if you wanted to.

I think reading those words form you is the best present she will ever get.

And buy her some flowers too.

Flowers from FTD.com?

Hi

I was thinking about sending some flowers from FTD.com. I saw mini rose plants. Are they just an arrangement or do they keep growing? My sister really wants to grow roses but since she lives in a brightly lit apartment, I thought that I would send her a mini rose plant for her 21st birthday.

help please!

Flowers from FTD.com?
plant usually refers to a potted plant- fresh cut are the arrangements- the description may give you more info

i looked at the site- a bunch like the %26#039;beautiful mini rose%26#039; say %26#039;potted%26#039; so yes those are plants that will grow
Reply:I agree with the lady above - plant refers to living and growing plants while cut refers to cut flowers. Also, just to be sure you don%26#039;t waste to much time, check to see if delivery is available to her state - I know for a fact you cannot order those mini rose bushes to be sent to Arizona - some agricultutal law - but I can%26#039;t get them here~ learned the hard way!
Reply:ftd ripped me off and i will no longer do business with them...dont believe the guaranteed next day delivery bull...it doesnt always happen and they will not make any noticable compensation for not getting it there...

How do you feel when your spouse completely forgets your birthday?

My husband forgot mine. I was really insulted. Not even a %26quot;happy birthday%26quot;. Nothing.

I plan his birthday weeks in advance, and between my parents and myself, he gets hundreds of $$. We have been married for 4 years, and every year, my birthday is less and less important to him.

If he remembers, he goes out at the last minute and buys roses (I%26#039;m allergic to them, and he knows this, and i have told him the flowers I love, and he still buys roses).

He said that for his next birthday, I have permission to treat him badly and not buy him anything. That%26#039;s ridiculous. I won%26#039;t go down to that level.

How do you feel when your spouse completely forgets your birthday?
I agree! For my 30th my guy did nothing, worked that day, threw an ipod nano on the table, in the bag he bought it in, with the receipt and murmured Happy Birthday. Like you I planned his in advance buying him Dell speakers for his laptop, oh he got me a card but it was a %26quot;comedy%26quot; one that mentioned my breasts!

Men DO NOT get birthdays, I dont know why, they are afraid I think of really making an effort, going all out and then... you hate it and they feel like a massive failure, so they make no effort and rest assured their ego will be intact by the end.

I have spoken at length to my boyfriend and said that it hurts my feelings when so little effort is made and to please listen to what I would like... you know like no roses etc. Or that you will be deeply hurt and take it as an insult if he does not act on your advice.

You dont need to treat him badly to get back at him like you said, just be clear and make him aware it hurts you and it may cause you to fall out of love with him and want someone who cares a little more? Be brave! xxx
Reply:When this happened to me, I knew the jerk really didn%26#039;t care it%26#039;s so amazing to me what they can remember when they want to.
Reply:You didn%26#039;t tell him that your birthday was coming up because you wanted to play the victim, to see if he %26quot;loved%26quot; you. Some people are just bad with dates. Tell him that you love him and you are willing to accept late gifts. Tell him he can make it up to you....you want a nite on the town, and a wonderful present that shows how much he loves you (something with a lot of thought put into it) it doesn%26#039;t have to be expensive, and a card with a special note saying exactly why he loves you. Some men just need guidance and advance warning. Tell him you will clear your schedule for next Friday nite and that will give him a week. Meanwhile, don%26#039;t harp on what he didn%26#039;t do just let him know how excited you are for the weekend. Then after he gives you that wonderful late birthday present, talk about it to your friends and family so he hears....brag on him a little.
Reply:Being natural caregivers and nurturers its in our nature to go all out for the men in our lives, thats why it is so crushing when they dont do the same for us. Rest asured he didnt do this on purpose although that doesnt make you feel any better. Men just arent wired like us perfect creatures! Dont take it too badly. Who wants to be reminded they are another year older anyway? I stopped counting after 30!
Reply:he%26#039;s a man.....it is not important to them....you do what you do for his birthday because you are a woman, it is important to you......why play games, a week before your birthday next year, remind him by mentioning where%26#039;d you would like to go out to eat.......

as far as the roses go.... he got you something then you complain, perhaps he just doesn%26#039;t want to hear you complain so he does nothing.......
Reply:Why dont you have a make up birthday, i know it sounds silly but it mite make you feel better. It will aslo give you an excuse to have some fun with your husband. Have fun....and as the Mad Hatter says why celebrate one day, when you can celebrate 364 unbirthdays? Smile and enjoy your life together!
Reply:You should not let that worry you.

Just tighten up your realtionship.;
Reply:Very shocked - because I dont have one!
Reply:oooooohhhhhhh........my husband knows better!!!!

SHAME ON HIM!!!!!

TIE HIM TO THE BED AND WHIP HIS BUTT!!
Reply:My husband had not %26quot;realised%26quot; it was my birthday and had made arrangements to do something else. Oh how he paid, he apologised and admitted he screwed up, so he was told to make it up to me, i got spoilt for 2 weeks not just on my birthday! He won%26#039;t not realise again!!
Reply:Perhaps he was just raised in a household where no big deal was made over birthdays. Apparently you have to accept him how he is and make your birthday what you want it to be. Treat yourself to something nice, go out to dinner, or do whatever would please you and invite friends or your hubby or both. Just because remembering that date isn%26#039;t important to him, doesn%26#039;t mean you cannot celebrate it any way you desire.
Reply:Sorry to hear a bout that! Why not try forgetting to cook for a few days?! If he says anything say, oh, I forgot and maybe make something you know your husband doesn%26#039;t like. Maybe he will get the hint.
Reply:i also forgot my birth day
Reply:I hate to say it but men aren%26#039;t known for remembering important stuff like that. BUT, since you actually reminded him, he can%26#039;t use THAT excuse! LOL

My ex husband always forgot my b-day. We were together for 14 years. I would plan his b-day with great precision, give him the utmost love and attention on his b-day, starting first thing in the morning. But since he never really cared about my b-day, after 6 or 7 years I figured b-days must not be that important to him, so I tapered down on his %26quot;special%26quot; day.... limited it. Ultimately, on his last b-day with me he got 2 hot pickled sausages that are called %26quot;Hot Mamas.%26quot; After all, it was one of his fantasies to have 2 hot women in his bed. Yes, I served them to him in bed. Maybe it was rotten but I wanted him to feel what I had been feeling for 14 years. Dismay, betrayal, lack of love and caring.
Reply:URG not my hubby but my %26quot;boyfriend%26quot; forgot mine! PISSED me off b/c his isn%26#039;t until Nov and I already started planning his. SO I am trying to figure out if I should do the same thing to him that he did to me OR should I still go with the plans I had ( dinner , new jacket to match his motorcycle and a night of fun). THEN see what happens from there.
Reply:But, you do have to go to that level. If you want him to see how it really feels then when his birthday comes around don%26#039;t say anything. Go on like it is another day. Hard but true. Or next year when your birthday comes around go out and buy yourself something you want. Buy the flowers you like. Sorry but, if my husband showed up with something I was allergic too. He wouldn%26#039;t make it in the door. Your husband hasn%26#039;t forgot he is lazy and your letting him be. Turn about is fair play.......
Reply:Thats Sad for you, but is he forgetful about other thing%26#039;s ? If he is then I%26#039;d find away to remind him a couple day%26#039;s before but if he just doesn%26#039;t care then it%26#039;s sad!
Reply:Oh I feel bad for you.....I would be so hurt if my husband completely forgot my birthday.....a %26quot;happy birthday%26quot; or a card would have been great....but to forget it all together? That is oh so rude!
Reply:aaaaawwww....

Been there once, and I%26#039;m so sorry

it feels horrible!!

I think you should have a girl%26#039;s weekend in Las Vegas for your next birthday

(and be sure to take pictures, including one of you with a boquet of your favorite flowers)!!

%26lt;3%26lt;3
Reply:I think that%26#039;s really crappy of him. He sure does take you fro granted. No, that wouldn%26#039;t fly with me. Not at all.
Reply:I don%26#039;t understand the big deal about Birthdays...and he is probably the same way. However, he should be willing to put forth effort to make you feel appreciated on your birthday - since it%26#039;s important to you.

Maybe, at a time when you%26#039;re not fighting or it%26#039;s not your birthday you sit down with him and explain how you feel when he forgets your birthday. Maybe, next year remind him, %26quot;Hey, my birthday is in a few days, and it would be great if you could....%26quot; This may help him remember and he%26#039;ll do something for you.

***Okay - I will edit this a little bit. In your original question you did not mention that you had told him. Are you nagging him about it? Are you giving him any reason to be irritated with you - so he decides your birthday is a great time to get back at you for something? Also - you cannot compare your Husband to your father. Your husband is not your father and you cannot expect him to treat you the same way your father did.
Reply:Did he forget your birthday before you were married? If he did, then perhaps that is how he has always been. If he remembered your birthday when you were dating, but forgets now that you are married, there is something else wrong. I think that you need to open up the communication and ask him why he has trouble remembering an important date like your birthday, and why he buys you roses when he knows you are allergic to them. Men can become very self-absorbed when their wife does everything for them. It%26#039;s not easy for them to reciprocate certain ideas and attitudes. You need to talk about this to him, making sure you are not being demanding. Tell him how you feel, and ask what his thoughts and feelings are. There might be stuff going on that you don%26#039;t know about. Give him a chance to make things right.
Reply:You might think I%26#039;m going overboard, be he sounds very passive aggressive. Which is worse than cancer. It can%26#039;t be cured. Maybe he%26#039;s like this in other areas of your life. A birthday is a big deal, bigger if he forgets and makes little or no retribution. That says a LOT. You%26#039;re right to be concerned.
Reply:Sounds like one of mine, I survived. Also forgot there%26#039;s.
Reply:to be honest i would be devestated..............
Reply:There%26#039;s a bigger issue here than what you actually state.

You need to communicate to your husband how important it is to you that he celebrate your birthday. Make it clear on the calendars and ahead of time and reiterate that you%26#039;re allegic to roses.

The bigger issue is that if he knows how important it is to you and still doesn%26#039;t acknowledge it, that is showing you that he doesn%26#039;t acknowledge what you care about or what makes you happy as being significant. If you don%26#039;t have kids I would leave--that simple. If you do, go to counseling first.

You are right not to go down to that level and there are thousands of men with and without wives who remember their partners birthday every year.
Reply:this guy%26#039;s a moron. No offense but I always try and make my wife%26#039;s birthday special. We are on a budget but I%26#039;ll make sure she doesn%26#039;t lift a finger, that I cook a meal she like, be at her beck and call. I%26#039;ll also get her a little gift or two but i try really hard to make it a special day for her. This year we were both sick so we postponed the festivities til next saturday.

Sorry to hear he forgets. Maybe you should forget his, forget to clean the house, forget supper, just start forgetting stuff and see who he deals with it.
Reply:He%26#039;s obviously extremely forgetfull when it comes to birthdays. Remind him a week before and put a great big notice up on the fridge with the words typed in large bold letters %26quot;Countdown to my birthday on ....... Forget at your peril!!%26quot; If he still forgets after this, divorce him.
Reply:omg today is my birthday and my wife was mean to me on birthday and did nothing not even show love.
Reply:tell him it hurts you

How to Keep flowers ALIVE without a vase? PLEASE HELP!?
Put them in the refrigerator. Ideally you should put the bottom of the stems in water, then put them in the refrigerator. If you do not have a vase, improvise. Cut the top out of a coke bottle, or even use a plastic bag in a pinch.
Reply:put them in the fridge.. can you find an empty soft drink cup or something to get them in some water???
Reply:Put a dampened papertowel around the stems and put it in the fridge. That is where florists keep cut flowers but usually in water. Maybe transform a cup or bottle into a vase...
Reply:Maybe you could call her at home and let her know something was delivered for her??? Or do you keep a cup or glass at your desk maybe you could use as a vase?? Sorry, no other ideas!!

Ideas for a birthday date?

My girlfriend%26#039;s birthday is tomorrow. I know I have to get a gift, card, and flowers (maybe), etc. I%26#039;m really bad at thinking about this stuff, so I was hoping someone might have an idea. Should I go with the traditional nice resturant, movie combo? Or are there other ideas you might have? I%26#039;d appreciate all answers. She%26#039;s the typical girl, high maintenance, loves expensive things. I want to keep a $200 budget for this, but if there%26#039;s a good idea, I could go for more. Ideas for a gift would be cool too. She%26#039;s going to be 25. We%26#039;ve been together for over a year now.

Ideas for a birthday date?
buy her the flowers deff. try 2 find out her favorite kind and get her a cute piece of jewelry. and as far as dinner make it a nite in. make her dinner(or order in) and make a birthday cake! then get a romantic movie and watch it 2gether.
Reply:Get her flowers, cook a lovely meal, put candles up, stay in, just you two, i like the jewelry idea. Spoil her that night, stay up late cuddling, get a lovely movie and have a romantic night in.
Reply:Stay home make her supper.Buy some wine,Light lots of candles watch a romantic movie cuddle. And take it from there Good Luck.

Birthday present for 18 year old girlfriend in Fiji!?

We%26#039;re going to be in Fiji on her birthday. We aren%26#039;t going there because of her birthday though, it just so happened to fall into place like that. I%26#039;m probably going to have to pick something up before we leave that I can put in my suitcase... So flowers will be hard besides whatever is on the island....... Any ideas?

Birthday present for 18 year old girlfriend in Fiji!?
You could try to get reservations somewhere romantic on her birthday, or you could sneek out the night b4 her birthday and get her something and have it there when she wakes up and she will be really surprised. It also depends on how long you have been together if you%26#039;ve been together for a while and want to be more serious with her you could find a store that has engagement rings and pop the question. Good luck!
Reply:Ipod Shuffle..that would be nice...get her the music she likes...

How to preserve fresh flowers for a long time.?

I wana send fresh flowers as gift to my beloved and it would take around 6 days for the delivery. I want to know in details how to pack the flowers and keep it fresh for her to receive with joy and fervour as it is her birthday.

How to preserve fresh flowers for a long time.?
Forget it.... they won%26#039;t last. You%26#039;d be much better off contacting a florist that has FTD... they will make sure she gets her flowers fresh.... You can call any FTD florist in your area and they will contact another FTD florist near where your beloved is and they will deliver the flowers fresh.

Here%26#039;s a link... you can even order online

http://www.ftd.com/528/
Reply:The Redesign Diva is RIGHT ON POINT. I sent flowers this way while overseas. Also, to family and friends that live in other states. This way is WAY better than trying to send flowers through the mail. As hot as it is, and we are talking six days!!!......anything you do to preserve them might be in vain, and also add to shipping weight/cost. It is not written that all the mail/package processing locations in route will be cool or condusive to preserving flowers. On top of that, I don%26#039;t think I have seen a refrigerated USPS, UPS, DHL, or FedEx truck.

There is another option, besides FTD, there is Teleflora, just to give you a couple to choose from. Personally, I have had better results with FTD. You can even provide the words you want on the attached card, as well as add other things like balloons, etc. You have the option to %26#039;do it up%26#039;, or just keep it simple. Your beloved should feel special and loved getting flowers delivered. The mail man comes 6 days a week. LOL

GOOD LUCK, and hope this helps.

I want to give flowers to this girl...?

This girl and i like each other but are taking it slow (till summer gets here) because she is at school two hours away and im at school in my town here. We talk 2-3 times a week because we are both really busy a lot. I care a lot about her and her birthday is sunday but she%26#039;ll be at school then. So I want to have flowers sent to her on monday but I am not sure what to send her and how many. A dozen is too much and takes a lot of room. She doesnt have to keep them forever, just till she moves back home, 5 minutes from here, and then she can ditch them if she wants because then we%26#039;ll be together. But we%26#039;re not dating and all so I don%26#039;t want to come on too strong, but i want something that will tell her that i like her a lot and that i think about her all the time. What kind of flower can portray that and how many are enough.

I want to give flowers to this girl...?
Ah, sending flowers...you are not alone in trying to find the perfect solution to a tricky question. That%26#039;s why there are so many options out there.

1) go to your local florist, tell them your story and ask for their help in selecting the right bouquet to send. Give the florist your price range and work with them to determine the best option. Roses are expensive...try tulips or carnations. Be sure to tell them to spend the funds on flowers, delivery and not on some fancy vase!!

Or

2) be creative and send cookies! Here%26#039;s a cute online option: http://ww12.1800flowers.com/product.do?b...

What student wouldn%26#039;t love a tin of cookies!
Reply:1-3 orchids they say that you like her and says that she is the one you think about but its not coming on to strong like roses what ever you do ,DO NOT sent her yellow roses thats something you sent your sick grandma in the hospital
Reply:I hate to be the one to break it to you on here, but better now than never. She prolly has other guys closer to her she%26#039;s interested in and other guys who prolly are giving her something more than a flower.
Reply:If you know the time she%26#039;ll be home, just pop by. If not ask her what time will she be home on Sunday. (most men will present more than one flower during special day like that; if you can get roses, it%26#039;ll be great).
Reply:Just order them via FTD.com or Flowers.com. You can get her something cute like gerber daiseys... they%26#039;re colorful and fun- but sending flowers will let her know you like her anyway. best of luck!
Reply:buy her a dozen tulips or roses. that would be very sweet and she wouldnt mind it taking up room because its a kind gesture. good luck man !
Reply:flowers are always a gd idea tbh. just get a bunch dont worry bout the kind unless u kno wot ones she likes. like u said tho dont go over the top lols hell a single rose can work sometimes =P
Reply:Pink roses are really nice and they don%26#039;t have the strong romantic tie that red roses do.

Maybe 6 would be good?
Reply:half a dozen lilies.
Reply:6-7 roses so thats a yes give her flowers
Reply:ONE one single White rose..... simple elegant.....
Reply:I think sending flowers for her birthday is a wonderful gesture that she will really love. My only suggestion is that you send them before her birthday, not after. Ahead of time shows that you put in the extra effort to plan a special gift just for her. I have listed below the best bouquets on the web. They are beautiful yet understated. Incredible without being too much. Good luck.

Flowers for a friend?

ok here%26#039;s the thing i(guy) want to get some flowers for my friend yellow fragipani%26#039;s her favorite know how do i give them to her on her birthday without it being stange or weird or am i just thinking about this way to much i also want to tell her a phrase in a language that she speaks as a surprise now how do i do this if we%26#039;re at a party won%26#039;t it be a bite weird with very one around us will she get embarrassed is there another way i can do this respectfully help girls?

serious answer

i like her but i%26#039;m not sure if she like me more than a friend and i don%26#039;t want it to blow up in my face

Flowers for a friend?
I dont think many florist would carry frangipanis as they are more a flower that grows on a tree.

i would recomment using 1300 Flowers (1300 3569377). They have 1000s of florists across the country and will be able to assist you on your flower selection.
Reply:fragipanis? huh?

anyway....every girl loves flowers, so it should be easy! just hand them to her normally and say the phrase with a big smile on your face. if you look comfortable, she will feel comfortable. stop over analizing it homie! it aint no thang!
Reply:Personally, I would definitely not present the flowers to her at a party, I think fresh stemmed flowers signal interest and it would not escape anyones notice. It would most likely make it very awkward.

The only way that you could swing that (at a party) is to give her potted flowers and that might come off as kind of dorky (better given to your Mother on Mother%26#039;s day).

If you%26#039;re picking her up or meeting her before the party, you

could give them to her before the party? I would definitely do it when it%26#039;s just the two of you though.

Also, not knowing what the phrase is that you%26#039;re saying to her, is it something that will be expressing to her how you feel or is it just a cute phrase between friends. That could play a part in the timing also.

Bad birthday present?

Well its my moms birthday and so i had to get her something. The thing is i feel its kind of lame, common and not stating enough. I got this nice gift bag with a card in which im going to write something personal inside. I also got one of those expensive chocolates. Im gonna make a nice banner saying happy birthday and leave it all in my room before i go to one of these classes afterschool. I thouhgt about it and i kind thought its too common and lame, there is no actual present, and belive it or not, the things i bought came up to 20 dollars... But im only a teenager, the only way i get money is from birthdays and its hard for me to buy sumthing expensive...

I also feel extremely shy when buying things like that, especially flowers which i got her on mothers day.

What do you think?

Bad birthday present?
Cook her dinner and wash the dishes that would be special for mom because it gives her a break and thats something moms rarely get
Reply:What you have is a great birthday present! Any mom would be happy to receive this because it%26#039;s obvious you thought of her! Don%26#039;t worry! Moms are easy - they love the scribbles you make when you%26#039;re little and the efforts you make when you%26#039;re older. She know%26#039;s you%26#039;re a teenager, and trust me, no mom wants their child breaking the bank for them when they are so young.

What a thoughtful kid you are!

My daughter wished me a happy birthday on my big day recently, and I said to her - well, thanks for making me a mom. She really is the best gift I ever got. And you are for your mom, too.
Reply:Just give her a big hug %26amp; the card %26amp; tell her u luv her. it%26#039;s the best preasent u can giv %26amp; she%26#039;ll luv it 4 sure
Reply:I believe your mom will be happy with your gift. It%26#039;s not about the gift but the thought that was put into it ;).

What do you buy your girlfriend for her birthday? - Girls please help!?

My 14 yr old girlfriend and i (Im 15) have been dating around 3 weeks now. And today is her birthday, people have told me many things to buy girls, jewellery, choclates, flowers etc. But when i ask her she always says she %26quot;Just wants me%26quot; And shes working today which helps me so i can go out and buy her some stuff =] What do 14 yr old girls want from the guy they like and their boyfriends? Seriously i have no idea. We havent been shopping and i know she likes music but its a SUNDAY so all the GOOD shops are closed =[

Girls- What do u want your cute and sweet boyfriend to get you?

Guys- What do you get your girlfriend when you have only been dating for 3 weeks?

I dont really want to spend much as my parents watch me like a hawk in money details, but i dont want to seem cheap either. My best mate who was dating his gf for 3 months be4 her birthday bought her a necklace, but we have only been together for 3 weeks or so?

HELP Please!!! =]

What do you buy your girlfriend for her birthday? - Girls please help!?
If you really don%26#039;t know what she%26#039;d want, how about a gift card? People will tell you it%26#039;s not personalized and stuff, but I much prefer it. (I%26#039;m a woman - mid 30s.) If I get a gift card, I don%26#039;t have some cheap piece of jewelry or a cheap figurine sitting around waiting for me to toss it in the rubbish bin. And I don%26#039;t have stuff I have no use for.

How about Bath and Body? Does she like scented soaps, lotions, or shampoos? If you already know she uses this stuff, call her mother and ask what scent she likes. If mom knows, you won%26#039;t have to get the gift certificate and can really impress her like you knew. If you buy product, keep the receipt so she can take it back if it%26#039;s not right.

Does she like books? How about a gift certificate to a chain bookstore? Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Borders, Hastings, they all have them. If you know she likes to read ask someone what she is looking to read next and get it for her. Keep the receipt in case you were mistaken.

Does she like to go out to eat? To movies? To arcades? Take her. Tell her this is her birthday from you and let her order anything within your means and don%26#039;t act jerky about it. Just smile and tell her she%26#039;s worth it. If you want to spend less than you think this will come to, don%26#039;t even suggest it.

Does she like music? Have an iPod? Buy her an iTunes card. Or a gift certificate from some place that sells CDs. Best Buy comes to mind. Do you know a band she likes but doesn%26#039;t have? Get it for her. Keep the receipt as always and don%26#039;t unwrap the clear wrapping if she doesn%26#039;t like it.

Movies? How about that? Does she have a favorite movie she doesn%26#039;t own on DVD? If so, get it. And keep the receipt - just in case.

Oh, and flowers never hurt. If she%26#039;s into collecting stuffed animals, you could do that as the gift and serve it up with a dozen long stemmed roses. If she%26#039;s not into collecting stuffed animals, you can still do a long stemmed rose or two with whatever you get her. Don%26#039;t bother with the receipt here. It won%26#039;t get you nothin%26#039;. You%26#039;re just out, so make sure she is not allergic before you get them. Again, call mom.

In all cases, if you don%26#039;t know but think there might be something, ask her mom or a friend. Do that on any of these questions. And always always always (except on flowers or food) keep the receipt. Just don%26#039;t unwrap the cellophane. and you can take it back and get something she likes better. For what it%26#039;s worth, I sympathize with you, little brother. That person who says %26quot;oh nothing%26quot; or %26quot;just you%26quot; is the hardest to buy for.

Good luck.
Reply:u dont even have 2 buy her sum10, if u do, get sum10 that either has her name on it, her initial, or %26quot;I Love You%26quot; on it,

if u get her a card to, write a sweet note in it that says u luv her, and how much u want to b with her, if u have time, think of a sweet poem

*~Sam
Reply:well considerin winter is almost here/ a nice sweater would be nice. or a nice set of gloves a scarf and a hat/ use yur imagination. wat does she like? try to incorparate that with her gift/ im sure shell love it/. it shouldnt be a problem lol trsut mee. no biggie
Reply:Here%26#039;s a simple and sweet present. Get a white piece of construction paper and get magazine and paint. Once you have all of those things you need to get some scissors and cut words out of the magazine that are like, love, beautiful, you know. Make the sentence meaningful to her. An inside joke, etc... Paste those words and then decorate it with things she loves. Like, pictures from magazines that have her favorite food, or favorite person. For her favorite person, just put a picture of you and her kissing or something.
Reply:A necklace is always a sweet gift. Or a braclett.

Or since she likes music you could give her a iTunes gift card if you want to go for something less personal but still nice.
Reply:How about getting her a build-a-bear that reminds you of her. If not that, a simple card that says I love you should work just fine. Think of something sweet, that%26#039;s you have to do. Don%26#039;t worry about price so much.
Reply:Chocolate in cute little heart shapes %26amp; a really pretty red rose.........btw I%26#039;m 16.
Reply:i got my gf a perfume bc we too got together 3 weeks before her birthday
Reply:Buy her a box of chocolates( the box in a heart shape ), And buy her a CD of her fav. group!!

Do guys like getting flowers?

I have been seeing this guy for 5 months now and tomorrow is his birthday. I am trying to think of something sweet to do for him. I have bought him something already but I was thinking about sending him flowers.. But, do guys actually like getting flowers?? And if so what kind??? Or does anyone else have any other suggestions I can do for him while I am at work and he is home, he has the day off tomorrow. Thought it would be nice to have him open the door and see flowers or is that something only a girl would wanna see??? Please help

Do guys like getting flowers?
not flowers, not teddy bears(ack) not balloons

although once my gf made like 500 ballons and that was pretty cool but generally not

you could call him and tell him abotu what you will do to him later

he should like that...or a singing telegram with a stripper if you have a sense of humor about that
Reply:Only if it comes in a case of wine.
Reply:I have not met a man that would like to get flowers for his birthday. So make sure you know what you are doing because this could upset him
Reply:Dont send him flowers....look to see what else they have like candy or something else...they have different things that you cans send him_
Reply:i think it depends on the person. not knowing what kinda guy he is, it%26#039;s hard to tell. i think it would be sweet though because it%26#039;s the thought that counts! so maybe sunflowers or iris?
Reply:My husband is 100% man and he enjoys getting a (1) red rose from me on special occasions. He still has the first one I ever sent him when we were dating. But I think it depends on his maturity, a younger guy might think it%26#039;s a girls only thing. He isn%26#039;t the only man I%26#039;ve sent flowers to, when I was dating a couple different guys I had done the same thing to them and they liked it, but like I said they weren%26#039;t young kids, they were in their late 20%26#039;s and 30%26#039;s. If you really don%26#039;t think he%26#039;ll like it don%26#039;t do it, but you%26#039;ll never know till you try.
Reply:no flowers!
Reply:my husb. wouldnt like flowers but maybe a small teddy bear and a balloon
Reply:Well, every year for my father%26#039;s birthday I give him a bunch of fresh flowers. He appreciates it - which amazes me because he%26#039;s one of those %26quot;manly%26quot; men - real macho and bold. You would never think that he would even stop to smell a rose. I think it%26#039;s a nice gesture for you to send him flowers - if he takes it the wrong way - he%26#039;s either homophobic or sensitive. Some men take it as an insult others don%26#039;t - it depends on what type of guy you think he is (based on the months you%26#039;ve known him is he macho?) Go for it ! God Bless and God Luck !
Reply:can you bake ? men love home made pound cakes and cakes and cookies.
Reply:I would think only a girl would want that but if a girl sent me, im a guy, flowers I would think that was pretty sweet
Reply:My husband would not like flowers. What about a cookie bouquet? Something that a guy would actually get some use out of! Or tickets to a game of some sort (or a concert, etc...whatever he likes).
Reply:Of course they like flowers! However, they like food more! How about ordering from a dine in service or pizza place %26amp; send him a %26quot;birthday meal%26quot;? I%26#039;m sure you know what he likes, right? and maybe then you%26#039;ll get to be the dessert ;-)~
Reply:I would not like to get flowers on my birthday... or anytime, unless you are landscaping my yard. I actually don%26#039;t expect anything from a girl, cause then I feel obligated to get her something twice as good. But if you do get him something, get him cologne (and not the kind your ex used to wear) or a shirt you would like to see him in but is still in his style so he doesn%26#039;t think you are trying to change him. ... Or a deep fryer, all guys need a deep fryer. Honey, if you are reading this: Deep Fryer for Christmas. Thanks! Okay, I am done.
Reply:Hmm...that%26#039;s only something that a girl would wanna see...
Reply:Guys and flowers do NOT co-exist. Buy him a fragrance you like.
Reply:I have never met a straight man who likes flowers in this way. It is very unlikely to have the same effect as it might if he got you flowers. Skip this idea, and think of something else.
Reply:no if he is a nancy boy then sure but i highly doubt that...lol
Reply:Heck send him a pizza and beer...sure he would like that...and too...go early in the morning and throw a card on his car or door, and call him, later take him to dinner...he will enjoy anything coming from you...the thought counts..if you want to send flowers go for it.......he%26#039;s your man....you should of taken the day off with him..hey call in sick...and spend the day with him...lol
Reply:i do send lillies
Reply:guys like tools, girl, TOOLS....
Reply:NO!!!!! - pllllleeeeaaaassssse don%26#039;t get us flowers.. WE LIKE TRUCKS (BIG ONES), AND SPORTS (ALL SPORTS), AND AND AND... well you get the picture.
Reply:Most guys would never want to get flowers from a girl. Better to call him up and tell him to meet you somewhere for lunch. Or, If you have access to a radio or a CD player, put on a love song and call him. When he answers, put the phone up to the speakers and then hang up after the song is over.
Reply:its differnt depending on the guy

senative= yes

jock= no

geek= yes

bully= no

goth= yes (dark colored ones)

i hope i helped
Reply:Guys love food... so a home cooked meal with lots of meat (skip the veggies) would do well!
Reply:Don%26#039;t do that. the guys don%26#039;t want to get flowers from U. They will tell U are silly. If U want to do something sweet for him, Just spend time with him if U can, if can%26#039;t, let call him and say what U are thinking that U are worry about don%26#039;t know what thing would make him happy and say how your heart feeling. The guy like to hear how the girls%26#039; feeling about them. Let%26#039;s be free to tell your feeling.
Reply:As a guy, I would say the only feeling a guy could get from receiving flowers is a huge ego boost.. especially if he receives it in front of his colleagues or friends. Stick to the regular gifts.

What birthday/valentines present will i recieve?

my boyfriend said my birthday present/valentine present both on same day! wont be a massive bunch of flowers or anything spectucular, more sentimental and from the heart, what would you think if your boyfriend told you that lol

What birthday/valentines present will i recieve?
My birthday and Valentine%26#039;s are separated nicely by several months.

If a girlfriend told me that, I would be flush with excitement for I know the present will be much more valuable than anything money could buy.

What it will be materially is anyone%26#039;s guess, but I am willing to bet that is will be stark raving mad with love.

Birthday gift for a girl i like?

I%26#039;ve known this girl for a couple weeks; we sit together in one of my classes (high school). she has a very bubbly personality, so we talk a lot during class and when we pass in the halls. i definately like her, and im getting decent vibes from her.

she told me her birthday is in a couple of days, so i want to get her something that she will really appreciate. i was thinking bright colored flowers to match her outgoing personality.

im not necessarily looking to ask her out, just let her know i think she is special.

my question is- how do i give it to her? in class? do i try to catch her in the halls? leave it with a message in the office? tell her i have something to give her after school?

any other ideas concerning what i should tell her or type of flowers would be great. thanx!

Birthday gift for a girl i like?
suprise her. leave it n her car, locker, 1st hour.... etc. girls love suprises. make sure u leave a note tho so she knows that you gave it to her
Reply:thats so cute!!! well basically i think you should give her the flowers to her in perosn so you can get the full fledges reaction...however if either of you guys are shy , then maybe you should give her a little note and ask her out to lunch or dinner and then give her the flowers there...she would soooo appreciate it !!!

good luck
Reply:If you are not looking to ask her out, don%26#039;t do red roses or any other roses. Simple flowers like gerber daisies (always a good choice for girls), tulips, or some other flower.

Or, A simple card is also meaningful, but subtle. You could always do that with a balloon.

Depending on what you give her, it will determine how or when you want to give it to her. If it is something small then you could give it to her during class. If it is something larger or if you want a one-on-one environment, give it to her after school (let her know you have something for her after school--like you mentioned). If you know her address, you could always send flowers to her house.

Since you have only known her for a couple of weeks, keep in mind that you don%26#039;t want to freak her out or creep her out.

Send flowers or bring flowers?

So me and this girl have been seeing eachother exclusively for almost 4 months and we%26#039;ve been talking since end of last year. As to why we%26#039;re not officially together, it%26#039;s not because im afraid to commit it%26#039;s more that im afraid to ask her because sometimes i get the feeling she isn%26#039;t ready and I don%26#039;t want to jump the gun and scare her away. But we%26#039;re really close and show affection in public and stuff. Anyway, her birthday is coming up and she invited me to her party that her family and friends usually have for her and I%26#039;m certain I want to give her flowers but should I send them or bring them to her personally. I feel like I want to bring them to her personally but I don%26#039;t want to give her family the idea that we%26#039;re in a serious relationship because I don%26#039;t know how she feels about the idea yet and that maybe it would be more subtle if I had them delivered that morning. Could this be her way of introducing me to her family on that serious relationship term?

Send flowers or bring flowers?
Show up with flowers.
Reply:send them - it%26#039;s more fun for a girl that way.
Reply:I would like it more if a guy brought them to me. But be careful what colors you pick. Certain colors can mean certain things…
Reply:Bring them to her personally. It%26#039;s adorable, plus, just because you%26#039;re bringing her a bouquet of flowers doesn%26#039;t mean you%26#039;re giving of a %26quot;serious relationship vibe%26quot;.
Reply:Id say take them to her in person. Its her birthday so I dont think the parents would get the wrong idea. They might even think your a respectable guy bringing her a gift rather than just showing up. Also, ive been sent flowers and recieved them in person and i love seeing a guy walk up with flowers in his hand knowing thier mine, its a good feeling
Reply:Bring them to her, so she sees you AND gets the flowers. 2/2 :D
Reply:i personally think you should send them. it just have a thing to it.

answer this interesting question at: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...
Reply:take them with you, girls love flowers, i%26#039;m sure she%26#039;d be pleased
Reply:If you bring them, make sure you also bring a vase so she can set them out not go try to find something to put them in.

If you send them, her family will ooh and ahh and mention it when you arrive.

If you bring them, they will make a big deal right in front of you. Which are you most comfortable with?
Reply:Send them with a stripper. Nothing says class like a chippendale!

Also, flowers die in a week. Give her weed.
Reply:Aw i was just thinking about this today.

I think send them, so she gets them on the morning of her birthday, delivered to her door or whatever.

Then just take a rose or something extra to the dinner thing that her family is having.
Reply:send
Reply:You bring flowers to an occasion . You send flowers after the occasion . For a birthday party bring no more then three roses and another small gift .
Reply:By bringing or sending flower will never mean you are going to marry her!! for God%26#039;s sake!

It%26#039;s her birthday, you guys are %26quot;dating%26quot;, it%26#039;s totally appropiate to bring her flowers with a little present.

Or...if she works, sent the flowers to her office!!! she will love it! and then bring a the little present to the party.
Reply:First off, the %26quot;flower%26quot; idea is great, it%26#039;s one of the best way to say a woman is special. I think at this point, have it delivered would be better, since your afraid how she would react. Inviting you to a party w/ her family, is a good thing, she wants her family to meet you %26amp; get to know you. Lastly, get to know each other, do not rush into anything, it seems like you guys are heading towards the right direction, %26quot;never%26quot; ever assume anything. Before you get %26quot;into deep%26quot;, make sure that you guys are both on the same page %26amp; the feeling is mutual, otherwise it may be a %26quot;heartache%26quot; waiting to happen %26amp; you do not want that..
Reply:i%26#039;m going to say this and your not going to like it.

you need and will want to be able at some point to do things that you want or need to do (things that don%26#039;t hurt people of course) that said, you are being controlling by all this should i or shouldn%26#039;t i. think about it, do you really want to be with someone that will not react positively to flowers or how you give them or when? you sound like you are on the rope and she%26#039;s not. why is that?? are you really that desperate? does she do this with you or just you with her?

they are FLOWERS not a dimond ring, kids, house and 50 more years of looking at each other.

chill out and go with your heart and gut, if she gets strange...she aint the one. and you cant spend the rest of your life trying to guess which way is right and trickin%26#039; her and the parents can you? or can you?

What's an alternative for fresh flowers for valentines?

Im planning to give the girl that i like the %26#039;traditional%26#039; flower gift for valentines this year.. i have given her a couple of bouquets on her birthday, etc. but i think its too much cliche if i would give her another flowers that%26#039;s gonna die anyway. ANy suggestions on an alternative thats not too cliche? i was planning to give her a flower made of glass so it wont die, but i think its too lame. So any suggestions would be greatly apprecitaed! thanks!!!

What%26#039;s an alternative for fresh flowers for valentines?
glass is wonderful! my hubby bought me a giant plastic sunflower for mothers day! I wanted to strangle him! but a delicate glass flower with something like %26quot;made of precious glass so fragile like you, yet strong and undying like my affection for you%26quot; add that to a card or get one of those empty ones you write in yourself you have got it made! yeah it will win her heart! You go with your original idea! Balloons ar second to flowers!
Reply:that is such a cute idea. do it! maybe on her card say something cute about how the flower will never die. your awesome!

Reply:If you really want to give her flowers do what my husband does. My husband refuses to buy me cut flowers because they die. He buys me potted flowers so I can plant them afterwards.
Reply:first, stop giving her flowers for every little thing... make a reservation at a really nice ROMANTIC restaurant... Even if you can%26#039;t afford much, make sure it%26#039;s romantic -- maybe even give her a CHOCOLATE rose when they seat you.... chocolate roses have just the rose eatable, not the whole thing A cafe out doors if the weather is mild would be nice... if indoors, pull her chair out to seat her... do gentlemen things like that. treat her like a real lady, etc. That%26#039;s MUCH better than flowers.

What kind of flowers should i give her???

i really care about this girl and her birthday is coming up. she is in college in another state but i was going to have flowers delivered to her dorm room. i want her to know how much i care about her. i dont really know what kind of flowers to send. any ideas? also if you have any good sayings that i could include in the card with the flowers that would be great! thanks in advance for the help!

What kind of flowers should i give her???
Roses are nice but carnations last longer. They also look good with a lot of baby%26#039;s breath with them.Just say what%26#039;s in your heart and good luck.Have a good night.
Reply:my hubby sent me the most beautiful tiger lilies for my b-day
Reply:mixed bouquet
Reply:Carnations and alstromeria last a LONG time. The longer they are around the longer she will be thinking about you. On the other hand, nothing gets a gasp from a woman quicker than the tradtional dozen red roses. It%26#039;s trite, but a very passionate and definite statement. Roses still may look like you just told the florist to %26quot;send whatever you usually send...%26quot;... I%26#039;d go for the carnations and alstromeria... get cream carnations with rose edges and rose colored alstromeria...it%26#039;ll look like you put some thought into it.
Reply:give her some roses.
Reply:wat are her fave color(s)? go from that...or r u guys in a relation ship? romantic, roses. fun, sumthing colorfun
Reply:Don%26#039;t do roses. Too corny and obvious.

You%26#039;d probably want to send her simple flowers that are%26#039;nt too big. Like cornelias or pansies.
Reply:those red roses with pink stripes are really gorgeous

and as for the saying, i%26#039;m not sure..

%26quot;if you were a booger, i%26#039;d pick you first!%26quot;

lol?
Reply:I like the 3rd one on the first page, but you know her best so take a look at a few of them and get the ones you think she will like best. Just sending them will let her know how much you care.

Beautiful roses are always nice, but red is so cliche. White roses are gorgeous, so are pink. If you want a mixed bouquet, be sure there are some stargazer lilies in there... those smell so good.

I NEED IDEAS PEOPLE!

Thanks so much, i really appreciate it!

SPECIAL 14th BIRTHDAY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....?
so go out and get her 14 balloons and 14 roses and get her a nice card
Reply:just as a quick easy gift u could get a cad w. like 15-$20 or like you said flowers/baloons will cost as much, and its okay to get a little since u already got her a gift. good luck!
Reply:Get her a card, and some balloons. Maybe one of those mini-cakes saying happy birthday :)
Reply:Take her out to eat at her fav restaurant and buy her balloons and a cake.
Reply:isn%26#039;t that enough
Reply:Balloons and flowers are always nice, we girls do love those things. Maybe a card too.
Reply:You should just get her a card, and hand write something nice inside of it. Because honestly she will understand that you took the effort of getting her a present... even though she%26#039;s not going to get it tommorow.

If you really find this person special then you might wanna throw together a few birthday balloons, it%26#039;d be nice, but not mandatory.

good luck.

Guys What would you like to get from your girlfriend for your birthday?

Of course I want my boyfriend%26#039;s birthday to be rememorable and not just like every other day. All of our days together are wonderful, so what can I get him or what could I do for him to make his birthday a special day for him. I doubt a guy wants flowers or an e-card lol So, tell me guys what would you like if it were your birthday?

Guys What would you like to get from your girlfriend for your birthday?
you know what I want? I truly wish that I could just spend the whole day together with my gal who lives 700 miles away...alone. Just me and her...time with my girl is all I ever want...the whole day..just us....go to somewhere romantic in nature...like a lake or a hike up the mountain. then cuddle up on the peak with blankets on and watch the sunset go down....that%26#039;s probably what I%26#039;m gonna give to my gal...I%26#039;m sure that would satisfy your lad well enough.
Reply:how about, a F-16 Falcon, that will do it for me.
Reply:Well, if you are having an intimate kind of relationship, then, everyone should have sex on their birthday.

And...Guys don%26#039;t get flowers often. In my lifetime, I have only gotten flowers once for my birthday and I thought it was very cool!
Reply:Mine helped my best friend set up an overnight trip to a local casino, and then I got to hang out with all my friends and her, which was pretty cool.
Reply:Another girl would be nice.
Reply:a toy...xbox...a new cologne
Reply:i would like my girl friend to offer every thing that she has but i would choose something to make her remember the event and love me more
Reply:sex, and then more sex
Reply:Kind of depends on his interests. Doesn%26#039;t have to be anything big or expensive. Just think about the things that he says, things he likes, and go off of that. Like I said, it doesn%26#039;t have to be anything big...the small things, show that you listen, that you care, and should be the best gift he ever receives, one that comes from the heart.

Please suggest a birthday gift idea for my wife's birthday?

Hello there,

Thanks a lot for taking time to read this.

When is the Birthday?

4 days from today

What are my current plans for the birthday?

Currently I am planning for a quick lunch other than greeting card and flowers. But this is the usual every year.

The constraints being:

1) we have a 2 month young baby (first kid) so wifey prefers not to be out of home for more than an hour or two (so that she can feed the baby when required at home)

2) generally I do not like the idea of beauty packages like manicure/pedicure/et al. But she does love it!

Warm Regards,

Dharanidhar

Please suggest a birthday gift idea for my wife%26#039;s birthday?
First get a babysitter, then go to a nice dinner, go home to give baby a feeding, head back out for a movie %26amp; then back home %26amp; enjoy the rest of the night with eachother%26#039;s company - a good, old-fashioned date for the birthday girl %26amp; new parents, but allowing time for the precious baby to be feed....good luck %26amp; enjoy....
Reply:You know your wife%26#039;s likes and interests better than anyone here. Folks here can tell you what they like but it may not be at all what your wife likes. If she likes beauty packages, go with that. Other ideas might be jewelry, perfume, plants for your garden if you have one, a favorite book. As you have just had a child together, perhaps a charm bracelet with a charm commemorating the birth of your child on it and that can be added to over the years, IF your wife likes jewelry.
Reply:A gift card for a day for her and a friend at the spa. They will love it, and say that you are the best husband ever...trust me!
Reply:if she likes a beauty packages likes manicure/pedicure, then go for it...aslo, a nice ring would be nice....and make a candle lit dinner at home...or surprise party God bless your kind heart
Reply:duh! you say you don%26#039;t like beauty packages but she does??? I thought this was her birthday. you answered your own question.
Reply:It%26#039;s her day, give her what she loves.
Reply:Well if she likes beauty packages, that would be my first suggestion. Its not about what you would want, its about her.

Congratulations on your new baby, maybe what she could really use is some time for herself.
Reply:hi

i think you can give them oil painting from their photo means turn their photo in oil painting it will create nice impression on them.

Capture that special moment.turn it into a masterpiece that will last forever!

A great idea for a personal and unique gift is a handmade painting made from a photo that you send.

The prices are reasonable and the outcome is amazing.

Good Question.

There are four days remaining in the birthday.

Give her a Surprise gift.

1. Organize a Little/Small party at home with informing her.

2. Tell all the invitee about the birthday of your wife with this that the party is secrete one.

3. Order for Cake with only two candles only as it is her first birthday being the mother and second birthday being your wife.

4. Don%26#039;t you dare wish her in the morning and let her to think that you had forgotten the day i.e. her birthday.

5. Fix the time with the invitee which should be accurate.

6. And lastly have a warming song %26quot;HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU%26quot;

Wish her Happy birthday from my side too as your friend.

The best birthday ever!?

This morning when I woke up, my husband had a beautiful card waiting for me, along with a Starbucks insulated coffee cup, because he knows how much I LOVE my Starbucks. Then, I had lunch with my girlfriends, who gave me a nice bottle of wine. My parents had flowers delivered to me at work, and my stepdaughter texted me to say Happy Birthday. Hubby%26#039;s taking me to dinner tonight, where I%26#039;ll get my %26#039;real%26#039; gift. :)

So, what was your best birthday ever??

The best birthday ever!?

My best birthday ever is October 9th every year, when I count my blessings that I%26#039;m alive, happy, healthy, have a great family, friends, a nice home and a job I like with people I enjoy working with.

My ex Girlfriends Birthday Today?

I sent my ex girlfriend of 6 months flowers today at her office %26amp; the flower shop said she refused them. They wanted her to look at the card %26amp; she said no. I sent her a little friendship note on the card with the flowers. I don%26#039;t understand, we were to be friends.

She broke it off with me in Nov. because she said she did not want to leave her job of 8 years in this other city %26amp; that she wasn%26#039;t ready to comitt, but that we could be the best of friends. That was fine with me. I can be a good friend %26amp; I understood. Not a problem. I sent her candy %26amp; a small gift to her home, so I guess I will be getting that back as well. I called her office to wish her Happy Birthday because she never goes anywhere for her Birthday. All she does is work %26amp; they told me she was out. That is a lie. It was at 11:30 %26amp; she doesn%26#039;t even go out to eat. She is always there. They wanted to know who it was %26amp; I told them I would call back later.

What is wrong? Why won%26#039;t she at least let me know something?

My ex Girlfriends Birthday Today?
You have crossed the line. A simple %26#039;Happy birthday%26#039; would have been enough. Try to get over her!
Reply:You agreed to be friends, dude. Do you send your buddies flowers on their birthdays? No. You crossed the line with the flowers and that%26#039;s why she rejected them. What if she was with another guy, say her BOYFRIEND, and you sent her flowers? How%26#039;s that guy gonna feel. All you needed to do was tell her happy birthday. Flowers? Candy? Cards? For a friend? I think not. You want her back and all she%26#039;s doing is denying you like she should. Nice try.
Reply:She is letting you know something. She is not interested in being friends. Her way of telling you is by ignoring everything you do. Take the hint and leave her alone.

Birthday gift for a girl i like?

I%26#039;ve known this girl for a couple weeks; we sit together in one of my classes (high school). she has a very bubbly personality, so we talk a lot during class and when we pass in the halls. i definately like her, and im getting decent vibes from her.

she told me her birthday is in a couple of days, so i want to get her something that she will really appreciate. i was thinking bright colored flowers to match her outgoing personality.

im not necessarily looking to ask her out, just let her know i think she is special.

my question is- how do i give it to her? in class? do i try to catch her in the halls? leave it with a message in the office? tell her i have something to give her after school?

any other ideas concerning what i should tell her or type of flowers would be great. thanx!

Birthday suggestions for a girl i like?
wow! What an awsome way to tell her she is on your mind. I would get her something she has mentioned in your conversations, like a mixed cd u think she%26#039;d like, or a gift card to her favorite store. You probably don%26#039;t want to give it to her in too public a place, she might feel like she is expected to act a certain way upon reciving your gift. Id put it in her locker before school.

My bf overheard his birthday surprise that was being canceled. Now thats its a day later what can i do?

I planned on my bf%26#039;s birthday to have a romantic dinner for two with baloons and flowers at a place called the melting pot in SC. And I was going to meet with some more male friends at a strip club and get him a lap dance where his favorite NFL players just happened to be the same night. And i also was going to buy him something to wear, since he is soo use to wearing his construction work clothes every where. I canceled everything because my atm/visa card would not work last night. The bank canceled my card by accident after they sent me two new cards, even though i turned in the other one. Now its a day later and i know he over heard everything i cancelled over the phone plus the conversation i had with the males that were suppose to meet us at the strip club. All i could do was make love to him last night. I had no beer or anything. Just some frozen prebreaded fish. I feel like i ruined his big day and i don%26#039;t know what to do now. What should i do now?

U should plan someting even more romantic then play like you planned that all along! What he dont know want hurt him!
Reply:he loves you i am sure he understands.

you could always have a belated birthday celebration if you are not broke.

if you are running short on cash, maybe you cld just do something simple like have a nice picnic in a park.

remember, its the thought that counts.....
Reply:listen. if he loves you as much as you seem to love him, making love to you will be more than enough.
Reply:Here%26#039;s something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

My Mother's 70th Birthday will be at my home. How Can I Make it Unforgetable For Her?

My mother has a large family. I%26#039;m planning her 70th Birthday party at my home. She loves to garden -- and loves flowers. I%26#039;ve asked everyone to bring a %26quot;horticulture inspired gift%26quot;. Besides giving everyone a photo album of pictures from her childhood to the present, what can I do to make it extra special for her?

My Mother%26#039;s 70th Birthday will be at my home. How Can I Make it Unforgetable For Her?
Wow, that%26#039;s really nice, I would just do all the tradional stuff, pictures, balloons, Maybe have each guest tell something fun that they remember about your mom, some time they spent together, a funny memory etc.

Maybe have your Mom tell her most embarrising moment in life. Give her opion of the most important thing in life.

Play music from her era, etc.
Reply:How about doing a %26quot;This is Your Life%26quot; theme? You have the photo album to incorporate into it. Have a great time. Would love to hear how it goes.
Reply:If its not a surprise party, ask her to make a list of the 10 people she%26#039;d love to see at the party. Tell her other than immediate family, maybe you can track down a childhood friend or others she hasn%26#039;t seen in a while.

Birthday present for my gf??

ok, my girl friend%26#039;s birthday party is on july 8th (her real birthday is june 26).... we have known eachother for over a year, but we have only been officially dating for about a week.....

its her 15th birthday, and that is special in the latin culture!! i cant make it because im going out of town the day before the party!!!! i feel like a jerk!!! not being there for her special day is horrible on my part, but there is no way i can make it!!

i want to make it up, but how?? im thinking about sending her flowers to were her party will be... thats about all i have come up with soo far... what about the present?? what whould be appropriate?? its should be a pretty nice gift, since its like both a %26quot;sorry i didnt make it%26quot; and %26quot;happy birthday%26quot; gift....

ps. she is in mexico on the 26, so i cant do anything with her on her real birthday either!!

tennis bracelet. you can take a look at www.gilette.com or at ebay
Reply:A nice golden ring and a note asking her to marry you

Reply:i hope she knows how lucky she is to have a guy who cares this much. thatd be enough for me.
Reply:a girl will love a present when she is gifted something hand made. I mean why dont you make something for her. You can have a collage made or by a plain shirt and paint something on it with fabric colors and give it t her. You can paint her initials or name or her zodiac sign... I think nothing can be spcial than that for a girl and also dont buy a card, MAKE a card...

All the best dude!
Reply:jwelery and flowers are good ideas just remember to MOST girls its the little things that count try calling her before it starts and telling her you love her and then have someone be there to hand her the gift(s)
Reply:so u can%26#039;t be with her on both the days, just have a private party with her any day before june 26.that way u get to be the first one to wish her happy birthday first one to throw her a party even if it is small one,it%26#039;s special .so during her actual party celebration she wouldn%26#039;t feel bad ,she would think about ur party earlier and feel good.and if she ever gets angry and says that u weren%26#039;t there for her or something show her this mail that u have posted it clearly shows that u care about her a lot .as for the gifts buy her anything that u know that she likes or just take her along with u ,it won%26#039;t be a surprise but it would be a quality time spent together .what more can she ask for
Reply:All your ideas sound gret but dont forget the flowers! Flowers are a must.
Reply:have her friends help you set up a nice surprise! like a video message, then someone sings in the background, then your friends would each give her balloons or something with a message on each balloon from you. ;) upset her for a bit the day you leave. its really fun. haha :)
Reply:Send the Flower, if she like candy send that too, also a neckles of her favorite color, and a note telling her how you feel about her to her, say how you really wish you could be there at the end.
Reply:Don%26#039;t worry, my boyfriend is missing my birthday.

Get her flowers and a tiffany bracelet.

She%26#039;ll love it.
Reply:First of all, don%26#039;t feel bad for missing her party. Stuff comes up sometimes. Make her feel special in other ways. You don%26#039;t have to pay an arm and a leg to say sorry. I understand you want best for her and that you just started dateing but man your so young. Why not make her a nice picnic and then cuddle at the park watching the sunset. You could give her a gift there as well, but it dosent have to be expensive. I hope shes not materialistic. Good luck your a man with a good heart.
Reply:A nice thing that she can keep for a long time.

My boyfriend gave me a gift, but we didn't do anything special for my birthday. Should I be upset?

I am in a very happy long distance relationship and it is my 30th birthday tomorrow. My boyfriend came for the weekend. He gave me a really sweet card and flowers for Valentine%26#039;s day and a lovely gift for my birthday. We agreed that we would celebrate my birthday on the Saturday night. I realised when he arrived that he hadn%26#039;t planned anything for the Saturday night and I was a little disappointed. I tried to drop hints like ...perhaps we can go here or there.. I don%26#039;t think I should have to do that for my birthday. I know that he didn%26#039;t mean to be careless, but I was really quite upset. I had expected to have a special time with him. This doesn%26#039;t necessarily mean that I would like him to spend money. He has done nice things for me before (eg. picnic, cook dinner etc..).

Am I being unreasonable?

Thanks for your comments. :)

My boyfriend gave me a gift, but we didn%26#039;t do anything special for my birthday. Should I be upset?
I would tell him that you would like to do something for your birthday and what you want to do. When you are doing it just tell him that next year you would like him to surprise you with something he would like to do for you on your birthday. You can%26#039;t get mad if he doesn%26#039;t know what you would like. I don%26#039;t think he can read your mind. So communication is the best. Besides most guys are not good with doing special things like this for a woman so drop lots of hints or just plan tell him. Hope this helps you and GOOD LUCK!!
Reply:Why should he plan everything for YOUR birthday?

It%26#039;s just like the Chinese saying, you give someone an inch, they want a foot.
Reply:If you feel that you should be upset, then be upset.

If you feel that you shouldn%26#039;t be upset, then don%26#039;t be.

In my opinion, long-distance relationships are a waste of time and effort, though. I would much rather have someone who is close by so we can see each other, not just talk to each other.
Reply:I would think that having a long distance relationship, you would be happy just to spend time with your boyfriend. I think it he was happy just to be there with you, and was probably very proud of the gifts he got you for Valentine%26#039;s Day and your birthday. Some people who have closer relationships, distance wise, don%26#039;t even get that. Don%26#039;t be ruining what sounds like a nice relationship. Doing things long distance is hard enough. Be glad you have someone! :o)

ha! if u r upset , then b it!

don%26#039;t ask us 2 tell u to be upset, u silly billy!
Reply:Yes, you are being unreasonable. Besides the fact he came to you for the weekend, he brought flowers, card and a present. Just because he didn%26#039;t plan an evening out doesn%26#039;t mean he wasn%26#039;t think about you. It could be that he didn%26#039;t have time, couldn%26#039;t come up with anything creative or just wanted to spend time with you alone. Focus on the big picture and what he did DO instead of didn%26#039;t do.
Reply:He took the trouble to buy you gifts. I think that is enough. You could have just said, let%26#039;s go out somewhere - you don%26#039;t have to leave it to him. Or you could have cooked a special dinner.I think it is a mistake to expect to be spoiled too much by men as they don%26#039;t generally behave like that and, let%26#039;s face it, you are a big girl and your boyfriend is not your daddy.
Reply:Well although I personally don%26#039;t think that lond distance relationships are good.Sometimes they work out better than ones that are local.I think that him giving you a gift and then going to see you is already great! What better gift then your sweety take the time to travel and go see you, that right there is better than 100 gifts. But I think that you should have open communication where you should of told him that you wanted to go somewhere. He was in your territory so you could have picked where to go or between the both decided.TRust me girl don%26#039;t be upset at something so small. He was there with you and I think that is what count. If you have any doubt just tell him.
