What kind of flowers should i give her???

i really care about this girl and her birthday is coming up. she is in college in another state but i was going to have flowers delivered to her dorm room. i want her to know how much i care about her. i dont really know what kind of flowers to send. any ideas? also if you have any good sayings that i could include in the card with the flowers that would be great! thanks in advance for the help!

On the other hand, nothing gets a gasp from a woman quicker than the tradtional dozen red roses. It%26#039;s trite, but a very passionate and definite statement. Roses still may look like you just told the florist to %26quot;send whatever you usually send...%26quot;... I%26#039;d go for the carnations and alstromeria... get cream carnations with rose edges and rose colored alstromeria...it%26#039;ll look like you put some thought into it.

Beautiful roses are always nice, but red is so cliche. White roses are gorgeous, so are pink. If you want a mixed bouquet, be sure there are some stargazer lilies in there... those smell so good.
