Bad birthday present?

Well its my moms birthday and so i had to get her something. The thing is i feel its kind of lame, common and not stating enough. I got this nice gift bag with a card in which im going to write something personal inside. I also got one of those expensive chocolates. Im gonna make a nice banner saying happy birthday and leave it all in my room before i go to one of these classes afterschool. I thouhgt about it and i kind thought its too common and lame, there is no actual present, and belive it or not, the things i bought came up to 20 dollars... But im only a teenager, the only way i get money is from birthdays and its hard for me to buy sumthing expensive...





I also feel extremely shy when buying things like that, especially flowers which i got her on mothers day.

Cook her dinner and wash the dishes that would be special for mom because it gives her a break and thats something moms rarely get

My daughter wished me a happy birthday on my big day recently, and I said to her - well, thanks for making me a mom. She really is the best gift I ever got. And you are for your mom, too.
